I'm so excited to tell you my new EP ‘old patterns’ comes out on Feb 13th!
It's the first of two collections of songs - duo EPs that are chronologies focused around making sense of the past. This first EP details habitual tensions and uncomfortable emotion - and working through them by owning the part you play in them.
It starts in a place of sadness, desperation and lamentation - trying to suppress the uneasiness of making mistakes - and then culminates in the beginning of acceptance and renewal.
The songs have a touch more yee-haw, introspection and big feelings. My prayer is that they may perhaps be of comfort, a reminder that transformation is messy but so important - and a record of the early blooming of a more assured identity in lasting love and firm foundations (iykyk).
